Abstract: Gabe Mayora was raised in Novato, CA. He is a first generation native born citizen, as his parents immigrated to the United States from El Salvador. Neither of his parents went to college but they both completed some training at trade school. His father works for the Muni System in San francisco and his mother is a legal aide for the sheriff's department in San Francisco.
Fortunately for Gabe, his parents were able to make a good living for themselves and their family; they never had to struggle. Gabe attended private Catholic schools and received a good education. He attended Marin Catholic HIgh School, a college prep school, which helped him in the process of preparing for and getting into college. Now Gabe is currently a freshman at St. Mary's College and hopes to continue on to graduate school.
